Some vocal techniques can only be understood and executed in an ensemble setting.
I have many years of experience as a professional choral singer with the Juno and Grammy nominated Elora Singers, as conductor for the Canadian Celtic Choir and Broadway Singers, and as vocal coach for countless other ensembles. I conduct workshops for choral ensembles that are interested in gaining a better understanding of their instruments, their capabilities, and their function within the group. These workshops include instruction on many of the same issues solo singers experience, but are addressed from the perspective of the ensemble.
In order to facilitate a productive session, I will travel to the choir’s usual place of rehearsal.
The length of session, specific objectives and rates are always subject to negotiation.
